SYNOPSIS
Aurore Dupin fled Nohant for Paris to escape her violent husband and break free from the bourgeois shackles of her upbringing. In the bustling capital of the early 19th century, Aurore led a Bohemian life and published her very first novel, using a pseudonym; and so “George Sand” was born.
