Auschwitz-Birkenau. Former German Nazi concentration and extermination camp. The world’s largest cemetery of more than one million Jews, and over one hundred thousand Poles, Sinti and Roma, Soviet prisoners of war, and many others.
However, this is not an ordinary museum. There is no other place where you save such items as a toothbrush, an old suitcase, or a lock of hair. From within the camp’s former economic buildings, it operates one of the world’s most modern restoration workshops. Thanks to these, we will learn the stories and secrets behind the objects found in the largest death camp in the world.
