SYNOPSIS
TV miniseries (2023). 4 episodes. Based on true events, Wales, 1970s. Geraldine Hughes and Pauline Floyd left the Top Rank nightclub in Swansea but never made it home. Their bodies were later discovered. They were victims of the so-called “Saturday Night Strangler”, which became the first documented case of a serial killer in Wales. The narrative is divided into two different periods: in the 70s, when the crime takes place and a laborious but fruitless investigation begins; and in the early 2000s, when the same investigators, using new DNA identification techniques, managed to determine who the murderer was.
