Manel Fuentes, Emma Vilarasau, Gestmusic and Diana Gómez will be awarded and acknowledged by the Zoom Festival

The honorary awards of this twelfth edition of the Zoom Festival will be an acknowledgement of media personality Manel Fuentes, actress Emma Vilarasau and the producing company Gestmusic, as significant players of TV in our country. The young Igualada actress Diana Gómez will also be awarded this year, with the Auguri Sita Murt Award.

They will all collect their award during the closing ceremony on Saturday the 29th of November at the Ateneu Municipal Theatre.

Manel Fuentes became popular through the TV screen with the Telecinco show Crónicas Marcianas. Also in Telecinco he appeared on Caiga quien caiga, and later presented his own late-night show, Las noches con Fuentes y cía. Apart from his work with the Antena 3 show Tu cara me suena, he is also recognised for his journalism activity on Catalunya Ràdio.

One of the most prestigious and respected actresses in theatre, cinema and TV in Catalonia is Emma Vilarasau, popular thanks to her roles in series like Secrets de família, Nissaga de poder, Majoria absoluta and Ventdelplà.

Catalan producer Gestmusic is one of the most important in Spain. It has worked with TV3, TVE, Telecinco, Antena 3 and Cuatro. It is the engine behind shows like No passa res!, Guaita què fan ara!, Tú sí que vales, No te rías que es peor, Operación Triunfo, Crónicas marcianas, El hormiguera, Mira quién baila, Ahora caigo, and Tu cara me suena.

And the Igualada local treasure, Diana Gómez, just 25 but with a long career, with appearances in series such as Alatriste, La via augusta, Águila Roja, and El secreto de puente viejo. She can also be seen in the films Salvador, Eloïse, Any de gràcia, and the TV film Concepción Arenal (awarded at Zoom 2012).
